The Collegium

Welcome to the Collegium at Biola University!

Latin for "gathering place," the Collegium is home-away-from-home to Biola's off-campus community.

Think beautiful home—full kitchen, 25¢ coffee, low-cost food bar, fireplace, computers, couches, printing, fun events, and a lot of friendly people—all conveniently located in the Upper Student Union.

Membership is $55/semester or $90/year. We "give that money back to you" via food events, an inexpensive food bar, and/or gas money saved! It's a great community, and we'd love to have you join us!

Commuter Lockers Available

If you'd like to reserve a Commuter Locker they are a great deal! Just $10 for the whole semester ($10 = a small administrative fee so that we can keep the program operating,) payable by cash or check. Commuter Lockers are located around the outside of the SUB (Student Union Bldg), convenient to Eagles, the Cafe, Common Grounds, and many classrooms. Stop by the front desk of the Collegium (Upper SUB). Checks can be made payable to "Biola University." Email commuter.life@biola.edu with questions!

Looking for a House or Roommate?

Check out studentlife.biola.edu/OCHS to search for both. Current students, faculty, and staff list for free! To receive your free listing, go to www.biola.och101.com, click LOGIN & create an account, click CONTACT US and send a message: "I am requesting a free housing listing because I am a current Biola student (faculty or staff)," --Within 24 hours you should have a free listing credit on your account.

Community Events

We offer weekly food events such as Birthday Celebrations, Make-Your-Own-Quesadilla Bars, Cereal Bars, Java Bars and more... all so that you can strike up a conversation with someone new! Often, members plan off-site adventures such as a Photo Scavenger Hunt at Downtown Disney or a Bonfire at Huntington Beach. If you are interested in serving or leading in this way, just let us know!

Grab an economical, fast lunch from our honor bar or store your own meal in the fridge.

You can even enjoy cooking lunch with a friend in our beautiful kitchen.

We’re wireless, but if you don’t have a computer, you can use one of ours – PCs & Mac available.

Printing is a breeze – run in, check email, print a paper, head to class.

Connect with a friend and study together at one of our study areas.
