About Alpha East

Built in 1966, Alpha is such a large residence hall that it is treated as two communities: the west wing is known as Alpha West and the east wing as Alpha East, each with its own RD and staff of RAs. Alpha is the last 'women only' hall on campus.

Alpha East is staffed by 6 Resident Assistants, under the supervision of Resident Director Debbie Hasbrouck. Alpha is a traditional 'dorm-style' hall with community restrooms and a laundry room on each floor. There is a large main-floor lounge, a rooftop sundeck, a main kitchen, and two microwave rooms.

Amenities

Alpha is fully airconditioned. Each student is provided the same furniture in each room:  1 desk, a 2-shelf bookcase, 1 desk chair, 1 chest of drawers, a closet or wardrobe, 1 twin bed with mattress (36" x 74" innerspring mattress), and 1 mattress cover. Each room also has one telephone, one wastebasket, and window coverings (blinds/drapes).

For more information or if you have any questions, please contact Resident Director Debbie Hasbrouck.
