Favorite part about being an RD: Meeting one on one with students and getting to know who they are, what's taking place in their lives, and helping discover where they're headed. My job rocks.
Favorite Biola Tradition: The Christmas Tree Lighting. We make it a family tradition; my parents, sister, and a bunch of friends all stand together singing Christmas carols. It's perfect.

Favorite part about being an RD: Walking with college students as they journey through the challenges, adventures, and fun that the college experience can hold. College students are figuring out a lot of things about who they are, what they believe, how to relate with others, how to live on their own, and more...I love being a presence, asking them questions and supporting them through this process.

Favorite Biola Tradition: The Egg — The Biola Egg is a large cement egg that is discovered or stolen, then painted and hidden somewhere else on campus by different dorm floors. The Egg has been hidden and found at Biola since the 1960s.
