• GRAB
GRAB is a service of the IGSA that provides free furniture, housewares, clothing and other items that an international student might need from donations of various individuals and churches. We also accept donations from international students leaving the country. For information and details, please write to grab@igsabiola.org.
Barnabas Program
This is the one-on-one mentorship program of the IGSA. We can arrange a current international graduate student to mentor you during your first semester in Biola. The only requirement for this service is that you must be willing to become a mentor to another student after your first semester. If you want to sign up for the program as a mentor or for a mentor, please write to help@igsabiola.org.
Prayer, Fellowship, and Community (PFC)
This is a weekly meeting where international students and community volunteers gather for worship, prayer and fellowship. We meet Wednesdays, 4:30pm to 6:00pm when classes are in session, at the Library Conference Room. For more information, please write to PFC@igsabiola.org.
Community Events
Throughout the semester, the IGSA with the help of its volunteers host various community events on and off campus. The IGSA sponsor luncheons inviting speakers from the Faculty or volunteers to discuss issues relevant to the international community in Biola. A number of church members and volunteers in the community, as well as American students and alumni volunteer to host events such as: Open House, Labor Day Picnic, Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas Party and International Student Retreats. Please regularly check this website for details, or write to help@igsabiola.org.
