Taiko Fest
Saturday, February 24, 2007 7:30 pm. Sutherland Auditorium

Koshin Taiko was formed in November of 1992. Koshin; means “bright heart or spirit” and aptly describes the humor and enthusiasm the group exhibits both on and off stage. The group strives to incorporate a powerful sound and distinctive movements with concentration, discipline and harmony.  The members of Koshin Taiko make their own costumes and drums; they are the only Taiko group in the world that uses solely Okedou Taiko (drums tightened by ropes). Koshin Taiko is based in Venice, CA.
