Arriving on Campus

Biola Housing and Residence Life is excited to welcome students to campus this Fall 2023 semester! We want you to be as prepared as possible for your arrival. Below are details regarding what you can expect when you move in.

When can I move in?

Fall 2023 incoming and transfer students can expect to move into their campus housing assignment on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at their designated arrival window. Please check your email to find your designated arrival window.

How should I arrive on campus?

Step-by-step instructions:

  1. Entering Campus
    1. Everyone must enter campus through Lot C or Gate 6 which is
located on Biola Ave. (You can view Gate 6 and Lot C on this map.)
If you attempt to enter campus from a different entrance – no worries!
A Biola community member will redirect you to Lot C with a printed
      map.
  2. Check-in and Dash Pass
    1. Upon entering Lot C, you will be greeted by your Orientation leaders
who will check you in and give you a dash pass and map to your
      designated residence hall.
    2. Think of your dash pass as your ticket into your residence hall.
  3. Residence Hall Unload and Parking
    1. After proceeding to your designated residence hall, a team of Biola
volunteers will personally unload all of your belongings from your car
and deliver them to your room. As this service is happening, the
student will receive the key to their room from the residence life staff
and the driver of the vehicle will be directed to park the unloaded
vehicle in the nearest parking structure (Parking Structure S for Hart
Hall and Parking Structure K for all other Halls).
    2. After your car has been parked, the student and guests will be escorted to the
student’s room by a residence life staff member where you will find all of your
      belongings ready to be unpacked.

This experience is a complimentary service that we offer our first year students and
families as a desire to serve our community and ease any stress that may come from
a momentous day. However, if you would not like to participate in this service, please
inform your orientation leader at the check in station when you arrive on campus and
they will give you further instructions.

As a reminder, please complete your enrollment process on MyAccount by August 15
to avoid any potential issues when you arrive on campus.
