Nonstop Meals in Cafe Begin

No more late for lunch: The Cafe has begun continuous meals from 7 am to 7:30 pm.

Sleep through breakfast? Got a midday class that makes you run to grab lunch?

Not a problem anymore.

Fall 2009 will bring a major change to Biola Cafe operations: the Cafe will be open all day on Mon-Thu, from 7 am until 7:30 pm. On Fridays, the Cafe will be open 7 am 'til 1:30 pm, then reopen for dinner from 4:30 - 6:30 pm.

But as a trial run, these hours are in effect now through the end of Spring semester (May 22). Saturday and Sunday hours are remaining the same.

"Breakfast offerings will be served until 10:45 am when we will begin changing over our stations to the lunch menu," said Carolyn White, Auxiliary Operations Manager. "Lunch offerings will be featured until 4 pm, when we begin changing over to dinner options. During these changeover periods, you can expect to find at least one entree available at each station."

Students are encouraged to use the Cafe bulletin board to comment on the new hours.
