The Conservatory has announced three lunchtime music events for September, and they're all free!

Gerald Seminatore, tenor
We welcome Gerald Seminatore back to to open our fall Music at Noon series.Mr. Seminatore has many opera and concert performances in the United States and Europe to his credit. He received his B.A. Degree in Liberal Arts from Boston University, his M.M. and D.M.A. degrees in Vocal Performance and Opera Stage Directing, from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Mr. Seminatore has taught many masterclasses at colleges and universities around the United States and in Germany. A special area of interest is movement techniques for acting and singing. He is currently an Adjunct Professor of Music at Pepperdine University, and is working with La Mirada Vocal Arts in its inaugural year.

Heidi Williams, piano
Praised by New York critic Harris Goldsmith for her "impeccable soloistic authority" and "dazzling performances," American pianist Heidi Williams has appeared in solo and chamber music performances across the United States and internationally. An avid chamber musician, Williams has collaborated with many outstanding American and international artists. She joined the piano faculty at Florida State University College of Music in 2007, after having taught at the Southern Illinois University Carbondale School of Music since 1999. She completed her B.M., M.M., and D.M.A. degrees at Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, Maryland, where she studied with renowned pianist Ann Schein.

David Diggs and Jazzwerk
David Diggs is one of America's leading contemporary exponents of smooth jazz. His pedigree includes collaborations with Pat and Debby Boone, Irene Cara, Richie Furay and The Brothers Johnson. He has composed music for TV shows and movies, and released several CD's. Along with David, the members of Jazzwerk include Brandon Fields, saxophones; Hussain Jiffry, bass; and Joey Heredia, drums.
